Bow United Soccer

Is Now Conducting Sign-ups for the 2009 Season

Bow United Soccer is a joint effort of the Bow Soccer Club and the Bow Athletic Club to provide an opportunity for all the children of Bow to play soccer regardless of ability and experience.  Play will be conducted for children from grades 1-12.  

Registration Night is June 15th from 6-8 PM

 1st and 2nd Grade – Co-ed teams playing within Bow

-          Practice once to twice per week emphasizing foot skills and 3 v 3 play

-          Working towards 6 v 6 play (some scrimmages between Bow teams)

-          Low cost uniforms (t-shirts) are included

-          More advanced players have the option to also play in the more competitive regional Early Development Program (EDP) (Sunday EDP games)

3rd Grade – 8th Grade – Boys and Girls teams in up to 2 levels of competition (see below); team placement based on player evaluations and number of players available to form viable teams.  Parents may express preference for Classic or Challenger play. 

     1.      Classic – Boys and Girls teams playing soccer in the Merrimack Valley League:

-          Practice twice per week with games within local region

-          Includes 3rd-4th grade jamboree and 5th-8th grade tournament

-          Designed to be low-pressure and cost conscious.       

-         All interested players will be accepted up to the start of the season, after which placement depends on coach availability.   

-    Training will be provided for any parents interested in coaching.

-    Player’s DO NOT attend player evaluations.

-    Uniforms are not provided and are available at registration or through Everett Sports Center after registration

2.      Challenger – Boys and Girls teams playing competitive soccer (skill and tactic building) in the Granite State Soccer league (Saturday and/or Sunday games), Early Development Program (EDP) for 3rd Grade – Sunday games):

-       Roster limitations exist and players must qualify for this advanced placement

            -    Practice twice per week with games on weekends

-         Games conducted primarily within local region

-          Includes Columbus Day soccer tournament

-    Player’s at this level also receive USFF training

-    Player’s MUST attend at least one night of player evaluations. (please see the website for player evaluation dates)

-         No late registrations due to league regulations

9th through 12th Grade – Coed recreational play against similar teams in the local region.  Teams will be a mix of 9th through 12th graders.  Teams will need a parent sponsor to operate team and ensure fairness of play.

Registration will take place in the fall.
