GENERAL INFORMATION

Bow Athletic Club Basketball

Bow Athletic Club basketball offers an affordable opportunity for boys and girls in grades 1-12 to play basketball.

Grades 1&2 are 8-week long instructional sessions, starting in December. All participants will receive T-shirts that do not need to be returned.  Session times are generally during the week after school 2:30 - 3:30, 3:30-4:30 with final schedules dependent upon coaches' availability. In recent years, Saturday afternoon games are played at Bow Elementary between the Bow and Dunbarton teams.

Grades 3-12 play on teams that compete in various leagues dependent upon team selection.  This includes practices 2x per week and games around the area on the weekend (some teams play games on weeknights as well). With games being here in Bow and traveling to other locals as the schedule dictates.  Practice times for 3rd & 4th are generally after school 4:30-5:30, 5:30-6:30, 6:30-7:30 with final schedules dependent upon coaches' availability and all 3rd & 4th grade home games and practices held at the Bow Elementary School.  Practice times for 5th - 12th are generally after school 5:30-7, 7-8:30 with final schedules dependent upon coaches' availability.  All practices for our 5th - 12th-grade players are held at the Bow Memorial School Gym as are most home games (with the exception of several games played at Bow High School).

Teams in our program are created equally to give all teams an equivalent chance to compete and equal play is strongly encouraged during the season.  (Please note, however, that we do use evaluations to create "A" level teams that compete in the Manchester Suburban League, all other teams at that level, are, however, split equally).
